I can average 400+ Watts for about 10 seconds. I then need 30 minutes rest...

One of the Zwift training programmes I do has 3x 10 second intervals at 600 watts (sometimes more if my FTP is higher)separated by a minute at 180 ish.

600 watts is out of the saddle going dizzy time, wondering if the pedals are going to snap!

There are some youtube videos of pros (and celebs) doing zwift races and sessions, and the watts they are producing are mind boggling

Bloody Roglic is back in the lead, after an ostensibly sprint stage today.
Don't like him, he's got tattoos, surely that's against the UCI's no needle policy? Only Alex Dowsett has a dispensation for needles due to his haemophilia.

But at least Roglic's Bianchi was Celeste.

Bloody well done to Hugh Carthy for winning today's stage on the Angliru.
I get off and walk even thinking about the Angliru. 7km @ 13%? That's insane.

The longest steep climb I can think that I've done is 1.9km @ 11% and that has the steepest stuff at the bottom so you get the promise of a good stretch @ just 7%. What I call the Apperknowle Angliru is 325m @ 12.8% and that's enough for me on a ride. Chapeau to you Mr Carthy!

And the BBC's sport's pages give a higher priority to news about bloody women's Rugger and Soccer and the stupid car procession >:(

So the Tattooed Terror has won it, but good to see Hugh Carthy, the Pride of Preston on the Podium.
