Quote from: Nick on January 07, 2021, 17:36:39 PMNice Rolling Stone piece from today with a lot more insight. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/neil-peart-rush-dead-cover-story-1110496/
I must admit to feeling very subdued yesterday, more so after reading this emotive, but very good article. Lovely to read that Olivia had taken up drumming, and although Neil used to listen to her having her lessons, he made sure he couldn't be seen so as not to distract her.

Yes as Captain Kurtz pointed out he got dealt a terrible lot in life yet still managed to fill it to the full, remarkable.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

Nice article that.

Not that it matters, but an absolute miracle his illness didnt make it into the public domain until the end. A secret shared and all that......
The new songs are an abomination

This excellent podcast interview with Brian Hiatt, the writer of Rolling Stone's features on Rush, is well worth a listen as an accompaniment to the recent cover story on Neil...

A mention in the local rag of the 'Prog for Peart' event at Abingdon music venue, The Northcourt.
