Woo hoo...

At last the DVD is confirmed for WORLDWIDE release NOT by Atlantic or ANY of their shite little outlets, IE Least/Best here in Europe...

I know the story anyway, just wasn't going to say anything till it was official...

Right I'm off, got things to do...

Oh anyone else noticed that access to the site is a little quicker, and when Apache 2 is running next week, it'll be EVEN quicker again, since Apache 1.3 ISN'T optimized under Win32.

Night night

Actually I am around today, the weather is THAT bad here that I couldn't even get to my local train station to get the train to Leeds to get my connection to Dundee...

Even if I had, there was a big flashy sign saying "Cancelled"

Arse.. arse arse arse...

Well what a weekend it's been...

I've probably done about 40hrs worth of coding on this site since Friday at 10am...

Much to my wifes displeasure, but hey ;-)

It's done (almost) just got to get the feedback now :-) oh and finish off the news page properly, still trying to work out an EASYWAY to do that though... I have AN idea, not sure how it'll work though :-)

News Page: http://www.t-n-m-s.com OR the News button in the menu...

Any comments, GOOD and BAD please pass them on.

Well another 600+ miles travelled today, all in the name of getting work :)

Fingers crossed.

Well I got a letter from the firm I went to see in Scotland last week...

I didn't get the job, oh well. NEXT!!!

On a brighter note, as you will have noticed Rush EUCon'03 has been announced. We will be opening a dedicated website for the event in the coming weeks, probably around the end of the March.

On the site we will have a list of the hotels/B&B's in the area, as well as a list of the various elements of the event, as well as any special's :-)

I personally hope to be smiling like a trooper there to at some point...

...I really need to get my guitar to the doctor for a check up before September :-)

Also the official banner for the event will be revealed soon, that'll be nice :D

Wow, I've not updated in over a week, and what a week it's been...

1. Got ticked off with the OLD dynamic IP address DNS system, so upgraded to a nice STATIC one, but cocked up the IP address in the process.

2. Am about to do a new VCD set.

3. Sorted out the SPEED issues with the site (I hope).

4. Added some fudges so that Guests don't get some of the bells and whistles, kinda like TNMS Lite :D

5. Added the PayPal donations button.

6. Posted, the CD's to Steve Harrison today :)

7. I think that's it.

Ack ack ack ack...

Just got the first DSL bill for the new ISP and it's almost DOUBLE what it should be. Have already sent them a shitty email asking them what the hell they're playing at...

More later.

Despite being around everyday I don't seem to post here very often...

But having lots of weird thoughts lately!? IE am I happy with my life.

The short answer is no, cos I'm STILL out of work, 5 months and counting, and there seems to be a lack of light at the end of that tunnel that's meant to exist.

Not just not happy with work, or lack of, but also with my spare time, I used to love being in TJSS we would practice almost every 2nd weekend it was fun to get together and just thrash out Rush choones.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm VERY bored and restless cos of the lack of music in my life, playing that is...

I'd love to form a band, not sure if I'd keep it as a Rush covers band though, as I'm getting more and more into bands like IME, Creed, 30 Seconds to Mars, Queens of the Stoneage. Purely because the music is SOOOO energy filled, and playing that type of stuff rocks, especially IME, perhaps I should form an IME covers band...? Any takers for Vocals, drums and bass?

Should I leave that in there? for the moment...

I'd also love TNMS to make some money and the mo I'm still paying out for it on a regular (monthly) basis out of my own pocket...

I don't understand why people aren't buying Merchandise... I might have to put a photo up of some tart wearing a TNMS t-shirt...

Also feeling a little depressed today...
... Must be the weather.

Well after 2 evenings away from my PC, I actually feel really good about myself...

I think this thing is an addiction to me, something I've been addicted to my entire life, well since I was 13 or so, which is 20 fecken years!!!! Shit a brick...

I think I'll keep at it, oo-er. There will be busy times ahead as I start a new job and with the convention almost 6 months away, there is a LOT to organise, inc...

1. Venue
2. Website
3. PR
4. Events
5. SRO/Anthem
6. The bands
7. House Band
8. Er.. there must be more than that.
9. The raffle
10. I think that's it...

So as you can see we're going to be busy, very busy...

Apart from that, life seems ok, getting a new hair doo today ;) should be fun...

Got a job interview on Friday...

Bec had some good news yesterday which should help shit out.

Going to see Tenacious D on Friday in Manchester? anyone else going?

That's it for now, more later.
