Nice pics Mark - I have exactly the same Grouse Mountain sunset photo! We also stopped off in Hope too (on our drive between Kamloops and Vancouver), after reading in the Lonely Planet guide that it was where First Blood was filmed! IT was coincidentally the 25th Anniversary weekend whilst we were there, so lots of Rambo-themed events. I have a photo reinacting Rambo's walk across the bridge into town ::)

We must've been in similar places at similar times, as we got back the Sunday before the Ahoy gigs... only difference is I didn't see the boys gig this tour :(

Only 600+ photos? Pah, 1400+ mate... ;) ;D

If you do the FaceBook thing I've got 3 albums which comprise our "best-of" (about 200 pics), with some beautiful Rockies scenery along with plenty of wildlife (whales, bears, elk, seals etc).

Well, you were there for a week or so longer than us. ;)

We're thinking of going back that way in a couple of years to do all the things we didn't get around to this time (Victoria, whale watching, Vancouver Island etc) + a different train trip.
There's only two Phil Spectors in this world...and I'm one of them! (Guy Stevens)

If you liked this trip, I can highly recommend visiting Alaska.
We found that even more astonishing than the Canadian Rockies and BC.
