Nice to hear from you Eya.  Sorry to hear about Pipsa - we went through a similar thing with our dog Bobby last year - we'd known about 6 months in advance that we were going to lose him, so we made the most of 'the available light', but it is still such a shock when it happens.

On a lighter note, there's a whole bunch of us looking forward to meeting up with you on October 29 :):):):):):):)
Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide

O.o   one year since my last post here.

What a year this has been so far.  Lot of work , many happy family events ... my son got engaged and so did both my sister-in-law and brother-in-law - all in one moths time and not knowing about each others actions :D   My eldest daughter got married the 7th June - a day with full of joy and yet a bit nostalgy, too. Our first child ready to lead her own life...

Only rock event  I got to see this year was Provinssirock, which took place one week after the wedding. Me and Matti worked there all weekend - which was both fun and tiring. Matti was a chauffeur for the rockstars and I did mostly some office work - but was able to see at least some of the gigs, too. No doubt I'll be working there next summer, too.  PT did a gig in Finland this year, too, in Ruisrock - but - sad but true -  we were both too busy to go :/

My son decided to move to live with his fiancée, so now we only have our child n:o two living with us. No boyfriend on sight but she too is anxious about finding a home of her own. Hope that she stays with us a bit longer, though. Would not want to "loose" them all  at the same time  :'(

And the most exiting thing happening this year must be the birth of my grandson. He was born the 9th October and a big fella was he, too. 4 kg 340g and 54 cm.  Originally the baby was due the 26th of September so he did keep us waiting for quite a long time.  Both Mari and baby are well.

And here is Leo :

Don't know other names yet, as it's a custom here in Finland to keep names as a secret until the christening ...

Well that's all for now, hopefully more news to follow a bit earlier than end of next year.

Greetings from a happy Granny :D

Nice pic, Eya :)

Thanks Micke,  Matti took it with his mobile, room was a bit dim, therefore the quality is not the best ...

Aye, congratulations to the pair of you :)

Don't reckon much to this baby's weight in kilos. Old weights and measures Good, New weights and measures bad. ;)

And I have no idea what the weight could be in old weights as I've never in my life applied any of old units of measure.

9lb 8oz is the same as 4.34kg
