Interesting read Bisto you would expect dialogue between VAR and the ref surely the appointed external Ref should be in communication over incidents as technically part of the match day team.

21/23 penalties scored in 32 games a crazy amount at this rate there will be over 300 penalties this season perhaps the game needs a penalty counter like the IPL sixes counter.
