Quote from: Matt2112 on June 12, 2019, 11:25:00 amThe Holy Trinity of Rock returns to the big screen on Wednesday, August 21, when the first "Annual Exercise in Fan Indulgence" Cinema Strangiato brings Rush fans together in movie theatres worldwide.  Featuring R40+, this global fan event will give audiences a special look into some of the best performances from R40 LIVE, including songs such as "Closer to the Heart", "Subdivisions", "Tom Sawyer" and more, as well as unreleased backstage moments and candid footage left on the cutting room floor.  R40+ also includes unseen soundcheck performances of the fan-favorite "Jacob's Ladder", exclusive new interviews with Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Taylor Hawkins, producer Nick Raskulinecz, violinist Jonathan Dinklage and more. As a special bonus, fans will get a glimpse into the madness and passion that went in to the making of Geddy Lee's new book, Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass - featuring a brand-new interview from the man himself.

Sounds like a showing that's effectively R40 bluray extras in all honesty.  SEE YOU THERE!!  :D

Hopefully this will be showing somewhere not too far from me. I've signed up for the updates and I think the cinema listings are out on the 20th June.

Be interested to see which and how many cinemas in the UK will showcase this......am guessing somewhere in London will.....

Listing here https://www.cinemastrangiato.com/tickets/ as per usual nothing within 100 miles of me.

What the hell kind of locations are they!?

Closest to me is Liverpool - over an hour and a half away!
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

There's Sheffield, Richard, but yes - very disappointing there's no West Yorkshire venue.  :(

One in Birmingham is showing it, not too bad for me, but it's on July 17th, and not August 21st, which was supposed to be the only night it was showing?! Will have to wait til nearer the time I think.

The Letter R

Yes - odd - one in Soho is listed as showings on 17th July and 21st August - I though it was a one night only thing.
May try and get to the one on the 17th ......

Bought my ticket for the Rotterdam showing... only the 21st here.

Blummin' 12 quid for an extended sequence of Blu-ray extras, having to make a 50-odd mile round-trip to Manchester in the middle of the working week?  Not exactly ideal.

Booked my ticket this afternoon.  ;D

You lot up there have got plenty of money 😉.

The Curzon Cinema in Soho was oddly missing from the first list - but then it appeared the next day so booked a ticket - looks quite small from the seating plan, seems to be the only central London showing unless more are added.

Thailand Express

They've put a late screening on in Glasgow, tickets purchased for that :)
