Widows

After seeing the trailer for this, I was quite excited about seeing it.

I came away feeling a bit let down. It is too long, and too slow. Liam Neeson is, well, just not that good in this.

The female leads are all great, but overall, I left feeling a bit deflated.

Viola Davis is great, and I really liked Daniel Kaluuya's performance as a crime 'enforcer'.  Olivia was really cute though (Viola's West Highland White Terrier).

I seem to be in a minority though - critics and public seem to rate it really highly.

I was a tad disappointed.

Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide
