Hey Maynard, good luck with the ban on photography at that one.  ::)

Seems a big leap to me for a festival headline slot, am sure they last played large Theatre size venues on their last tour ( Brixton Academy / Hammy O )??? - Have they become a large mythical band by being away for so long??? - having said that they are way better than Slipknot.......
I wonder what's in their contract with the Download Promoters about playing other shows in the UK in 2019?

They headlined Download in 2006...

Theres only so many bands that exist that can be headliners, I'd guess..

They have played Brixton Academy (sold out 2 shows) but also SECC (2 shows) and Wembley Arena (sold out I think?) It has been such a long wait since the last tour..it will be almost 12 years come Download. Apart from R30 this is probably my most highly anticipated tour (fingers crossed they do actually tour the UK!) since I was in my 20's.
No good deed goes unpunished!

No amount of anxiety can change the future. No amount of regret can change the past.

Ah cheers - didn't realise they headlined previously or played Wembley Arena.

Let's hope there is a proper tour - guess the 02 Arena would be the likely London location......

Not many gaps in that schedule, mind.  Not sure if there will be a warm up, but I'm sure there'll be a tour afterwards - its taken so long, they'll be milking this record for all its worth!

Gosh, what a load of old tripe.

Bring back the good old One Day Monsters of Rock.

Two awful bands - Leper and Slipknot and one I've never even heard.

Can't believe you've not heard 'Lateralus', Nick - would have thought it was right up your cul-de-sac.
