Quote from: Bez on October 08, 2018, 10:18:50 amI'd be interested in the Bluray for the 5.1 version, but that's only available in the super, super, super deluxe version. Pass for me.
Quote from: Trafalgar on December 04, 2019, 20:16:30 pmHi all,Did anyone else notice the obvious facts to do with this release? Such as:1. It isn't the full show from PinkPop (although it does contain a longer version of Something for Nothing than I have heard before)2. 2112 isn't from the Tucson 78 show, its from Offenbach, Germany in 1979 (i.e. the Black Forest boot). 3. It's too slow.4. The remaster of it is not as good as the remaster done first time round (at least imo and the above post appears to back that up).If you pardon the pun, I think this was a rush job to get something out - certainly Hemispheres from the German show along with adding Circumstances from Tucson would have been a sensible choice, instead of yet another version 2112. Which actually on that show isn't that good as it has a lot of distortion - the Tucson one is a lot better. The sleeve notes say that there was some debate that Anthem was played at that concert. They could do worse than to take a look here for starters:https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rush/1979/burgemeester-damen-sportpark-geleen-netherlands-33d650e1.htmlI was really looking forward to the anniversary of this album which represents the best time of Rush for me. Shame they had to balls it all up. I know most of us have had these shows for many years but would have been nice to have a properly produced version.
