Tour De France

So, drugs charges against Froome dropped in time for him to start this year's tour.
Can anyone stand in his way?

Well, I hope the Froome Dog wins purely to piss off the Frogs :)

I think Nibali might be the one to watch, he appears to have kept his powder dry this year.
Movistar are going with a three pronged attack with Quintana, Landa and Valverde. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
Tom Dumoulin could be worth a punt, but maybe too mountainous for him once they hit.
It would be nice to see Adam Yates do well, three weeks might be too much.
Richie Porte always has a bad day.
Then of course there's Froome's team mate G. He'll fall off.

Had a couple of each way flutters on Roglic, Dumoulin, Bardet 7 Yates to finish in the top 3 with Gavirra to finish in the top 3 in the points classification (Sagan is untouchable unless he gets kicked out again...)

That was more fun than watching a bunch of blokes rolling round after tripping over a blade of grass :)

I'm off to cycle round Chesterfield Market Place for a couple of hours for my pavé fix...

Agree it was great fun, but I'm not sure it was fair....too much down to luck with mechanicals / punctures etc...
Bardet stopped 5 times on the stage (that we saw) for punctures / bike changes

Considering the yawn fest that was the first week, that was absolutelly joyous (see what I accidentelly did there?)

Bike handling skills, team skills, bravery, fitness, huge clouds of dust. Same conditions for everyone. Man up!

Yup.

Best bit of Sport I've watched all year. They should include some pavé every year. It's all part of cycling in France. Tomorrow they've got a couple of km of gravel roads on the Plateau des Glières. Could be a little bit of fun :)

Bardet may have punctured a lot if he'd tried riding down the gutters. It's smoother, but full of grit and things. His ride's on Strava. No flybys with anyone on Motorcycles...
