Spirit Adrift-Divided by Darkness

Best Metal album I have heard for a very, very long time. Like a mix of Metallica (how they should sound!), Maiden (how they used to sound) with early 70's Ozzy on Vocals.

OUTSTANDING!
The new songs are an abomination

It is quite brilliant and it reminds me of the early The Sword albums. But we should have all see this coming - Curse of Conception was already fantastic  as well.

U2 - Zooropa

Dreadfully dated (I wasn't really ever a fan of the album, the tour was fantastic)

U2 - Pop

Much better!

Part Rob Halford, part Ozzy. I don't listen to metal much these days, and when I do it's 99.9% classic, old school bands but first impressions played on Tidal, it is a very good album albeit the audio quality is lossy only.
The best recentish metal albums I've heard are by Hell.

Soundgarden - Superunknown....on the deck and in the car...what a great post/late grunge era album!

Has anyone covered any of the choons on this?

Immolation-Atonement
Desolate Shrine-Deliverance from.....
Sorcerer-The Crowning of the Fire King

Unlikely to get Bez too excited, but for the metal fans out there 3 very, very good albums.

All taken from the 4.5 stars out of 5 section on Angrymetalguy.com

Here it has been some "no-man" and Lisse (seen as support for Jack Savoretti in Dublin recently). definitely a different vibe :)
