Khemmis is brilliant, the newest one Desolation is a contender for album of the year. The prevous one 'Hunted' was already named just that in 2016 by Decibel magazine.

Ever heard Anciients? Same same, but different, but more proggy but also that thick layered sound, worth checking out their albums Hear of Oak & Voice of the Void.

Ah yes, Hamferd. Or to be precise: Hamferð Read an interview with them, they are from the Faroe islands, which makes them interesting already. Love the language they use, it suits the music so well.
