20/2/18 - Temperance Movement, Junction, Cambridge. Very good 8/10
20/3/18 - Jonathan Wilson, Omera, London. OK, but underwhelming 6/10
22/3/18 - Turin Brakes, The Stables, MK. Excellent, Bass player is still a dick. 8.5/10
27/3/18 - Steven Wilson, RAH. First half & AS,BNH Stunning. Took a while to get going again. 8/10
28/3/18 - Steven Wilson, RAH. Outstanding.  Solo set great. Better view, despite cheaper seats. 9.5/10
29/3/18 - Steven Wilson, RAH. Crowd great (apart from annoying French people talking), less "banter" between songs due to filming. 9/10
6/4/18 - Earthless, Bonkers, breathless and fab 8/10 (would have been more without the annoying "moshers"
13/4/18 - Ezio, MK11. New venue for me, very small. Probably about 50 people in attendance. Good show. 7/10
14/5/18 - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Watford Colosseum. Small venue for Noel (2000). Great crowd, great setlist and great "singalong" fun 8/10.
3/6/18 - James Bay, Cambridge Corn Exchange. 6/10. Better than expected
19/6/18 - Pearl Jam O2, London Postponed
30/6/18 - Jack Savoretti, Petersfield. 8/10. Lovely venue, great performance.
4/7/18 - Supersonic Blues Machine, SBE. 8/10. Very good, bonus appearance from Davy Knowles as support
17/7/18 - Pearl Jam. O2. 8/10. 3 Hours, 30+ songs. Excellent
19/7/18 - Oli Brown Band. Stables, MK 7/10. Great to see the young man going back to his blues roots.
26/7/18 - Del Amitri, Hammersmith Apollo. 9/10. There can't be many bands with as deep a back catalogue as the Dels. Got to see Q & Oz outside afterwards as well
1/8/18 - Geroge Ezra, Sandown Races. 6/10, not really my cup of tea, seems like a nice bloke
31/8/18 - Hats Off To Led Zeppelin, MK Stables. 7/10 pretty good all round. Good selection of songs, not all obvious and not too much self indulgence
4/9/18-  Devon Allman Project, Islington Assembly Halls. 7/10. Odd show with headline duties shared with Duane Betts.
6/9/18 - Jawbone, MK Stables, 6/10. Exceptional playing, but a bit souless
15/9 - La Villa Strangiato, Sutton 7/10 Much better than expected. Worst thing they played was Chemistry and that was the opener. The singer needs to learn the words!
6/10/18 - The Pineapple Thief. SBE. 7.5/10. Harrison more integrated. Extra guitar has tightened things up..
11/10/18 - John Lees Barclay James Harvest, Stables, MK
5/11/18 - The Sheepdogs, Borderline London
9/11/18 - 9 Below Zero, Stables, MK
10/11/18 - Riverside, Electric Ballroom, Camden
12/11/18 - MC50, SBE
23/11/18 - Aussie Pink Floyd, New Theatre, Oxford
30/11/18 - Bravado, Ruislip ???
5/12/18 - Ezio, Junction, Cambridge
7/12/18 - James + The Charlatans. Wembley Arena.
11/12/18 - The Magpie Salute. Electric Ballroom.

I've noticed a number of tours being advertised a year ahead...is it just a coincidence that the promotors are making tickets available before the post BREXIT aftermath?

Yes.

Last time I saw Steve Hackett, two years ago I purchased tickets a year ahead. King Crimson I bought a year in advance.

As I said, it's been going on since before the Brexit referendum. Certainly by the likes of Hackett and the King Crims.

I wonder how bands went on before the marvellous EU which is our blessed guide to the future and which holds our hands to guide us down the true path of enlightenment came into being? How could the Beatles and many other British Beat Combos manage to forge their careers in Hamburg, before the shelteing EU umbrella was raised to save us from the evil rain of the outside world?

So was I but kept getting either server busy or being offered allocation that when chosen oddly wasn't available anymore......
Will probably have another go Friday but can't see it being any easier.
