Surely they need a change now?
Question of when not if. I think he will last till the end of the season. Although a heavy defeat to Milan may encourage the board to act quicker. Sad its come to this.

It is. I'm seeing a lot of bitter Gooners including professional c*** Piers Morgan putting the majority of the blame on Wenger when the players and the board are equally culpable imho. Perhaps it's my imagination but I seem to remember him talking of retiring at 65 years ago, he really should have! I hope he does now and manages to enjoy it, he looks so haggard and haunted.

Players are definitely culpable....as bad a capitulation as the leicester players under Ranieri last season...

The board have provided plnety of cash, its questionable how some of it has been spent over the past 5 years...

Good to get another win under our belts.  Milan seemed a much better outfit last night than they did a week ago.

The thing that surprised me most about last night was the vitriol aimed at Welbeck by the media for his dive. Now it was a dive, no question about it.  He felt contact on his shoulder and went over.

Strange though that when Vardy, Alli, Kane etc dive it is deemed as "clever".  I thought it was a bias towards English players.   So I can't work out why Welbeck is deserving of such condemnation?

Alli is a nasty cheat and a loathesome individual. If he dives and we win the world cup as a result I wouldn't be happy, much like Michael Owen's dive against Argentina all those years ago...

I'm OK with it against Argentina, I make an exception there.

Au revoir Arsene after 22 years in charge!

Yes he probably outstayed his welcome but he will always be a legend for me.

Excited for what lies ahead and sad that it had to end like this.

Be wonderful if he were to end his tenure by winning a European trophy

The football under his stewardship has almost always been a joy to watch.

Cheers Arsene, now go out with a bang by stuffing the Poodles Terriers.  ;D

Yes they'll be doing very well to get an appointment that works 1st time.

The club have been preparing for his departure with several back room appointments over the last year in roles that previously Arsene had been doing himself. That may help with the transition but there are no guarantees.

Quiet round these parts these days ..

Had a feeling listening to people calling into 5 Live after this evenings PL game against Swansea that perhaps the tipping point is finally coming, and Wenger will go soon.

T-N-M-S' prescient voice of football gets it right again.

He has probably outstayed his welcome a bit over the last few seasons, but will rightly go down as one of the best that certainly Arsenal, and the top flite in England has ever had. His team's of the late 90s and early to mid 00s were awesome.

Well it appears that he didn't want to go then. Have to assume he's been sacked then?
