Anyone else still in the cup? I'm in the 5th round which has started today.

Got any "tokens" left Q? Or a wildcard?

I'm currently 4th in the mini league I won last year, 15 points off 3rd which pays £40 for a £20 stake. Lots of points available this week though with 12 teams playing twice, and my triple captain chip. Do I go for Kane, or one of the City boys though?

I did message them to ask if I could play my wildcard and triple captain in the same week, and they said no, only one chip at a time. I argued that a wildcard should be considered different to the other 3 chips, but they weren't having it. No harm in trying though. 30% of managers still have their triple captain to play, and 47.5% are yet to use the bench boost chip.

I used my wildcard this week and stuffed the team and the bench with double game week players only to find that I couldn't use the bench boost. Sums up an awful season. On to the  next one!

Came close but stumbled at the end - if I hadn't have transferred out Vardy and Lingard for Salah and Ayew (and just sold Lingard for Zaha as I was also torn with), I'd have taken it, but ho-hum, a good fight until the end and well done to Derek McGlynn for an inspired last two weeks which saw him jump from third to first.

Looking forward to next year :)

We'll done to Derek, whoever he is. I managed to claim 3rd in another mini league I'm in, thanks to the inspired transfers in of Van Annholt and Arnautovic on the last day, so got £40 from my £20 stake. Never really recovered from a terrible first 6 weeks, when captain Kane did virtually nothing.
