A Bank of America report states that they believe sterling is evolving into a currency that resembles the reality of the British economy. Small and shrinking with a growing dual deficit problem.

It's losing its status as one of the 5 major currencies and is approaching the stature of the Mexican peso.

Another cost of the pointless vanity project that is Brexit
When the truth offends we lie and lie until we can longer remember it is even there. But it is still there. Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is repaid

It's not a vanity project, it's a help yourself project
No good deed goes unpunished!

No amount of anxiety can change the future. No amount of regret can change the past.

The madness of Brexit continues.

No plan on how to deal with RO RO traffic on the Dover Calais route that will no require customs checks

It really is an utter shambles!

So from being the easiest deal in history it now looks like we are leaving with no deal. What an utter shower of sh*t for everybody.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

I think you are being pessimistic

Very tough now, customers refusing deliveries, huge forecast reductions. Bit of a downward spiral.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

The reality of Brexit combined with the incompetence of this Government is a disastrous combination...

Ok Businesses of the UK it's time to GET READY FOR BREXIT!

Yes the World economy is heading into a depression that we all hope but can't guarantee  will be a short one and so forcing the additional paperwork and reduced opportunities for trade that will come with cutting links with our major trading  partners is absolutely perfect timing.

It seems that Dogma trumps everything.

But but "project fear'

Still waiting for a BREXIT benefit, how much must we have wasted so far on this "oven ready deal"?

Shysters

Apple and the Irish government have just won the case brought against them by the EU commission over tax rates. The commission may now seek to take it the the European Court of Justice.
This is how they choose to spend other people's money.

I've kind of decided that posting in this thread is kind of pointless.

Even if Brexit supporters knew and understood that the UK would be worse off and that people's freedoms are absolutely to be reduced by leaving it wouldn't shift any opinions.

There's an ideological hatred of Europe which means the benefits of membership can never be acknowledged so what's the point.

I have to admit, being half French and half English and living in Ireland that I am ideologically linked to the EU. Yes it has faults and has made many mistakes but I still believe that it's the best way to protect the UK's interest in a pretty hostile World.

You can blame (more likely thank) Chris' recent self made ban and subsequent post for that.

You've got that wrong, where I'm concerned at least. No hatred of Europe, we are European, after all.
Just an opinion that the EU does not serve our interests and dilutes our nation's democratic process.
That's a different thing altogether.
