Nearly £3bn invested in UK technology firms last year. Twice the amount of venture capital financing of any other European country (double the amount invested in Germany and France combined, apparently).

Can you remember back to when we voted in the referendum? I'm sure it said on the voting slip REMAIN or LEAVE. I'm pretty sure it never said do you want a hard benefit or a soft need it....

Good news today that manufacturing output is at its highest for 10 years.

Can’t deny it’s good news but it’s a global phenomenon at present.
Everybody's got to evalate from the norm.

Barnier must be some negotiator.  Meets up with Farage on Monday and by Thursday the loonie UKIPer is suggesting the need for a 2nd referendum.  Genius !

Farage was just a bit pissed off he'd been out the papers for a few days and knew that soundbite would get him headlines......

I see the EU is to fight the US re the Bombardier plane issue.
Hopefully it will be resolved before March 2019
EU not required as sanity has prevailed with the US International Trade Commission's ruling that punitive tariffs will not be imposed on Bombardier. No opportunity for the EU to play the role of white knight on the UK's behalf here then, much to their chagrin, no doubt.

Inflations unexpectedly falls to 2.5% (lowest level in 12 months), wages up, sterling up and the sun is out - happy days!

Just in - "economists have admitted they haven't got a Scooby"

I'd certainly agree with the second sentence...

Don't get too carried away....our growth is predcited to be lower than within the Euro-zone and most of the rest of the developed world...

I also refer myself to your second sentence...
