Tia's test results are fine.  It's not cancer thankfully.  Although we are still at a loss as to what the lump is.   ???

That's a relief, mate. Hope you get to the bottom of it though. :)

Our springer is ten and covered in lumps and bumps. They are prone to them as they age. We had most tested a few months ago and were told they were just 'fatty lumps'.

Had to take Maple to the vets today, as she has a split dew claw that had become inflamed. They pulled most of it out, and has got a buster collar on, and is on antibiotics and anti inflammatory's. Got to take her to have it checked out on Thursday.

She'll be fine I'm sure and they get quite accustomed to the 'collar of shame' over the years!

Took Maple back to the vet today, and she was pleased with how her claw was healing. She said give it a couple of days before we take the buster collar off, but it's OK to take it off to take her for a walk.

In the same boat with our springer, Bramble. As I was saying, she's no stranger to the 'cone of shame'!
Took her for a swim over the river and she badly cut a pad on her back paw (possibly broken glass - lots of blood). Two staples and £62 later and she's familiarising herself once more with the Buster collar. Unfortunately she can still get to the dressing so how long it stays on is the question.
Going to the Lakes next week so it's really bad timing. She'll be having a different holiday to the one envisaged, for sure. Bugger.

Went to a show called Ludlow dog day yesterday, set in the grounds of Stokesay manor, which is where they filmed Atonement. Very enjoyable day for dog lovers, and great fun.

Went to a local summer festival on Wirral earlier with the dugs - our recent rescue was a winner, picking up a rosette, the look on her face tells me that she'd have preferred a steak batch tho!  ::)
