Had surgery (laryngoscopy) at the Churhill hospital in Oxford today as an NHS patient - every aspect of the experience was faultless.

Good to hear.  8)

Yes, I've been a frequent "customer" of the NHS the last 18 months or so for different reasons and the staff are impeccable, particularly the consultants I've seen.  Bloody immigrants with their exceptional expertise, taking our most highly qualified jobs etc etc  ;)   :)

Lovely afternoon and early evening at Chadlington Beer Festival. No sign of local resident, regular visitor and ex-PM David Cameron though. No longer has a need to mix with the hoi polloi, I guess.

Do you live in Devon, or are you on holiday mate?

Nick

Lucky enough to live here, although sometimes it can feel like a permanent holiday.

Downside - got to travel miles for gigs.

Changing jobs!

Had enough of recruitment (17 years at same desk with same people doing the same thing!)

Going off to work for a small IT services business in Lichfield called Broken Stones as their first dedicated Business Dev/Sales person

Very excited. Needed a change, and this feels like a nice challenge
