Alicia came home from school with 2 awards for the week. The class award, and a sports one as the girls football team won a tournament this week. Very proud of her as she's had a lot to put up with just lately with being diagnosed with diabetes.

Had to take my dear old mum to see the cancer specialist for her monthly appointment today. We were given the great news that she is now in remission, free from myeloma and can cease her oral chemo treatment - a good day.
