No way I'm updating for a while. I'll wait until just before the free upgrade offer ends (if I do it at all).

Windows XP is still working fine thank you.
Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide

I'm curious about the face recognition login aspect. How secure is that I wonder? Can it tell the difference between a person and a picture of a person? What about a 3D printed head of someone? I'm all for the concept of biometrics as I hate passwords with a passion but I wonder just how secure and robust this is.

Chatting to one of the PC bods at work the other day and he was saying there's a default whereby Windows uses your photo library as a screen saver and he'd heard at least 2 cases of porn being displayed, one of which was of the "nasty" variety...

Updated my desktop today....again all seems fine so far

New updates already arriving so guess there has been some stuff to fix

UPDATE

All Apps is a bit of a mess as W10 doesn't seem to find all of your apps. Looks like there is a well reported problem of a 512 app limit under START. I only had 253 (not sure what 200 of those are)  You can get around it by cleaning up your program shortcuts and folders to some degree. Also there are already 3rd party START apps that you can download!!

Other than that everything else seems ok. Having to do some app updates which MS doesn't take care of but that's easy enough
