First few tracks mentioned hardly inspire delight and joy do they.....

Clockwork Angels
The Anarchist
The Wreckers
Headlong Flight
Big Money
Far Cry
One Little Victory
Animate
Roll the Bones

Useful I guess if I develop a nasty case of dysentery or incontinence on concert day though.....
The new songs are an abomination

NeilP

it's not tempting me to cross the pond in truth

So do you honestly look at that cross section of the setlist that I highlighted, which will probably constitute around 40% of the actual musical playing time of the show and think "WOW. They are going to bow out with a bang and reward the fans who have paid megabucks to see us one last time"?

I doubt it very much.

If I had sacrificed my family holiday this year to fly stateside and satisfy my need to see them one last time, I would be absolutely gutted right now

Edit:- We haven't seen the full setlist of course yet.....

The rest of the setlist must be the stuff they haven't played before//or for a very long time...

As that is all stuff with video accompaniment, the rest could be all early material. Perhaps that is just one set and the first set will be played without bells and whistles in a stripped-back presentation - Anthem, Bastille Day, The Necromancer, In The End, Something For Nothing.............................oh! huh? what?!!
yawn..............damn late nights

So where will the FANBOIS (like me) be accommodated?  ;D

Change the word "fans" to "fanbois" - puts a whole new perspective on it.  ;) ;D

More seriously, I think we've got to remember that a significant (probable) minority hasn't been into the band as long as the likes of us have, so they're more likely not be as jaded as us lot, hence the set-list won't seem as vanilla.  I absolutely get the yearning for older, deeper cuts though.  Just - please, please, please - no Lamneth...
