New Gear - Drums
« on: May 01, 2015, 19:14:02 PM »
Yes, it's that time again, a new snare added to the set up.
I have a Ludwig Supraphonic 5" deep, but I was really looking for something with a little more depth to it. But not necessarily another classic.
I looked around and noted the Ian Paice signature snare. 14x6.5 stainless steel for avery fair price. Nothing really custom about it (the internal dampener maybe..?) but a very solid snare that has that little extra beef.
Love it!

Picked up a set of Alesis Nitro electronic drums from eBay seller yesterday for £190. 3 hour round trip to Cobham in Surrey but more than worth it as they are virtually unplayed!  ;D
