That would be fantastic.  Smaller venues, presumably with a relatively stripped-down show - just what the Old Rush brigade have been pining for.  Surely somewhere like Royal Albert Hall would appeal on that score.

Though "a week" surely wouldn't mean seven consecutive gigs - four at best.

And the odd festival headliner earning them megabucks could be a possibility, right?

Yes, it's wishful thinking on my part, but I wouldn't completely rule any of it out given Al's comments.

I can't see it myself....Ged's voice isn't up to multiple shows in a week...they won't come over here just to play the RAH

Its nice to debate stuff like this, but I think the majority of us are realistic enough to know they are not coming here

Quite "excited" to see what the setlist will be though, the DVD of this tour could be quite a nice final document of a great career, and it would be great to see some gems

The decision to tour the UK has largely been influenced by the logistics of bringing over a large show for just a few dates. If they decided to do a 'stripped' back show it might make it an easier decision to play a few dates here. They have a natural affinity with the Uk afterall as it is the country that provided all their musical influences.

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

I tried consulting the Psychic Hotline.....but all the phones are busy  ;D

I think they'll come over. I know it's frustrating not having a definitive yes or no, but perhaps the guys themselves are not sure yet?

I think a lot will depend on how the US leg goes, and how they feel at the end of it. After all, they've admitted their age catching up on them - Neil's chronic tendonitis, Geddy's voice.

It might not result in a full-blown Euro tour (they might indeed scale it back to a couple of nights at the Royal Albert as far UK dates go). But at least the US dates are being filmed.

Keep the faith
