Just bought my 6 and 4 yr olds a ukulele each!

Brilliant fun, utter noise, but they love them

Apparently, its the best selling instrument sold in the country to schools and kids, overtaking the recorder this year

The new songs are an abomination

My mate Andy "Wierdo" Wild, whom some TNMSers have met, is in the United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra. They are massive in Germany. He's currently touring there - opening night of the tour was in a 6500 seater arena......

There's nothing wrong with ukulele's  ;) I own 3 of them and they're cheaper to collect than guitars!

I've heard of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain but my favourite is the all girl punk ukulele group http://thepukes.co.uk/
and Miss Zooey...http://youtu.be/dN104VMoIr8  ::)
When you can take the pebble from my hand, it will be time for you to leave...

I am row B at The Lowry in April ! I even have a spare seat.

EDIT: I was chatting with the wife last night about this comment, had to laugh at the idea that I was an old sado, still in to Rush, going to a Ukulele concert with no mates. I actually am a stupid old sado who managed to buy 7 tickets rather than 6.

You're seeing a different band - The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. It's all a bit Life of Brian ....... Splitter! ;)
