I need a bit of a pick me up and there is no chocolate in the house. I have several bottles of whisky just sitting on the shelf waiting to reveal their mysterious charms but its not yet 5.30....how long should I wait?

I'll get my coat

Well...erm...no, to be pedantic... that would be putting the core back in after you'd cored the apple  ;)

Whiskey?  A sensible time would be three hours before you usually retire for the evening.  Thereby guaranteeing an early night.  ;)

In your own house, do what you want, when you want mate.

Well as long as you are not being cruel to children or animals.
