Quote from: Bez on July 31, 2020, 12:21:43 pmThe U2 bit in the doc is interesteing....the band couldn't see Bono when he jumped off the stage and didn't know what to do, so they carried on until he came back into sight...
Indeed - his excursion into the pit ate into all the time set aside for - I think - two more songs.
The keys to happiness

Yes, I've heard that before mate. Live Aid catapulted them into super stardom. I saw them 3 weeks before the event at Milton Keynes bowl, and although they were popular then, they went to another level after Live Aid.

Just watching The Mask on comedy central. Used to watch this a lot when my boys were younger. An entertaining and funny film, with the added bonus of an extremely sexy looking Cameron Diaz.

Hidden - Season 1 & 2 from BBC Wales on the i-player, bi-lingual Cop/Drama show with 2 excellent star turns from the killer in each season.....really good TV.

Next up on the i-player will be Strike.

'Tis good. I'm just about to start season 2.

We've finished Dark now. All 3 series were excellent and it all came to a satisfactory conclusion. If you watch it, it's wise to make a real effort early on to know who everyone is at ALL times. It's complex and bounces around all over the place. I'd even say to make notes, but the producers do help out with placed photographs here and there. A great series.
