Any arrangements for a beer before the Sheffield show. I am actually driving from Birmingham to Sheffield on the Monday and staying over a couple of nights - got the Premier Inn or Travelodge whatever it is opposite arena but no idea on area or place around there for drinks so any suggestions?

I hope to be present for a couple before the gig too, but know nothing about Sheffield, except that it's like Rome apparently ?
You can check out any time you like but you can never leave!

Carbrook Hall was the meet up last time round.  Sit outside if the weather holds and pub grub on the go too

Only if Rome has been used as a testing venue for Thermo-Nuclear weapons. Awful place is Sheffield, but good for gigs...

Nothing much around the venue...unless your in the market for a new car. I remember there's a cinema close too. Other than that not much else.

Well there'll be a state-of-the-art arena up and running soon in the Knightsbridge Of The North, so there'll be no reason to visit Sheffield at all.  :D
