After a third of the season played, The Shaymen are two points clear at the top of non-league football.

Start looking over your shoulders, folks... ;) ;D

Barnet were doing fine until they met you at the Shay.  Just seemed to have recovered from that ordeal over the last couple of matches

That was a cracking match, 2-2 with only 20 minutes played after we were 2-0 up.  Barnet played some good stuff in the first half but seemed to run out of steam in the second and we were able to capitalise.

Got a lot of respect for Darren Currie, a very good player in his time and showed a lot of class in his post-match interview.

Looking forward to the reverse fixture at The Hive in January. :)

Darren Currie was playing at Underhill when I was still a regular there. Fabulous player, very skilfull and a brilliant crosser of the ball. Barnet principally played him as a winger but he had absolutely no pace. That's probably why he spent his career with the likes of Barnet and not at a much higher level.

Good to see Halifax on  the way back!

Slim

Saw his Uncle Tony playing against Hartlepool once, in the FA Cup. 2-6.

Would love to be in the same division as Bradford City and Wimbledon - we could have 3 piss-ups a season pal...!  ;D
