SCOTLAND
« on: September 08, 2012, 17:19:36 PM »
I don't think there's a thread started for the bi-annual disappointment so I'll start one.

1) Dreadful team selection from a manager who shit's himself from making any kind of radical team selection.

2) Why only one up front when playing at home?

3) Why play a past it forward when you have a young, energetic "goal scoring machine" sitting on the bench?

4) Decent effort from the team that was put on the park.

5) Predictable result.

Abysmal today.  Levein under pressure already and Macedonia game now looks massive.

Rhodes 47 goals in 46 games and he sticks with Kenny Miller for 81 mins and takes off Snodgrass for Forrest while Adam and Naismith stay on - Jesus wept

Serbia were there for the taking today but Levein shat it  >:(

Rank rotten today.

Can't believe that Miller started, he's been past it for a while.  Rhodes would have been the perfect front man.  Our supposed easiest opponent and being at home would have been the ideal way for him to start the WC campaign.  But no, bring him on for 10 minutes to chase the game.

The manager's petty argument/fall out with Fletcher, an in form, tall physical striker is to the detriment of the team. .

Taxi for Levein please.

I'm glad I decided not to watch it. I heard some of it on the radio, it sounded like a typical dull Scotland performance. It has to be the time  to try the youngsters like Rhodes and Forrest from the start.

How long before Levein is shown the door and Strachan is appointed as manager?

Being as Scotland is a constituent part of the UK, may I suggest that they throw in their lot to a United GB side, thereby enabling all true British people to cheer on a team which occasionally wins games :)

Simmers, when someone comes out with something as daft as that as work, it's answered with short, sharp statement. DON'T TALK LIKE A C**T!  :P ;).

It's not daft. One Country, One Team.

The team would still be more or less English too. I call that a result. The British people in Scotalnd get to cheer a GB side that wins occasionaly, the English can pretend it's still England.

I call that a Win, Win, lose in the quarter finals result :)

And we're not THAT desperate to get to the quarter finals of a football tournament.

See Simmers, the Scots want to be Scots, and the majority of English want to English. Lets just leave it at that, and forget about this GB nonsense.
