Yep, that makes a big difference mate. Tiger will never get back to how he was until he can start using his driver properly again.

no one fears him any more, so people are playing properly rather than chasing a game that is unatural to them

driving accuracy was never Eldrick´s force mate, his biggest problem now is distance-control with short irons and putting

I sink more 6 feet puts than him these days

still, he has won 3 times this year, went to no 2 on the ranking, and came in 2nd in The Open and 11th this week-end :o

I was a member in the first year of the Severn meadows course at Highley that runs along the side of the river Severn, and I believe I still hold the record for most balls in the river on one round  ;).

Annoying feckers shouting "USA" "USA" during the final round when Garcia hit a bad shot last Sunday >:( >:(

I already dread the shouting in Ryder Cup in the end of September :-\

Wait - this calls for a Ryder-Cup Thread :)

I've got a fair bit of golf coming uop over the next few weeks....a day at Sunningdale playing the Old & New courses, an overnighter to St Omer in France playing the championship course there and a charity day at the Oxfordshire (a course I haven't played before). I need to get some practice in - I can't remember the last time I played 36 in a day !

Playing 36 at Little Aston GC next Friday, in a very swanky society do

http://www.littleastongolf.co.uk/

Located off the Roma Road, which is the most ludicrous collection of wealthy houses and people you are likley to see (footballers, doctors, lottery winners etc)

Still got some very antiquated rules, no ladies still I believe, a while back a player had a heart attack on the terrace, and the female ambulance driver was not allowed round to treat him, she had to wait in the car park!!!

Amazing isnt it! Within about half a mile of my house, if you do a google maps/streetview thing its in the middle of some unbelievable wealth!

Still no telly in the club house, jackets and ties in the bar

They have about 300 members, about 50 of whom actually play. They turn up on a saturday, have lunch and wine, drink vast quantities of something called kimmel, then totter out in 7 or 9 balls for the monthly medal, where the winner tends to be the one who has taken the most golf balls in his bag!

One of Lee Westwoods top 3 courses, It is amazing!
