Good books, he tends to use 6 words when 1 would do, but they enjoyable

But not as good as these books which I have just finished:-

The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb

The books aren't all written yet either Neilllllll

That stops me from starting them  - I like to get to the end of a story.

Christ, how fast do you read?

Each one of the 7 books is about 800 pages long!

Not fast, but he's been writing them for 20 years + hasn't he....?

I like to know that there's going to be a final outcome... ;)

Ah, I think I started the first one of those Assassin books, years ago now... not sure why I didn't finish it.

I used to live and breath pulp fantasty like that; so much so I hardly read anything else! I think I went through a phase of trying to get out of it, and got more into biographies, music books etc. I only really re-discovered this addiction (affliction?!) to fantasy novels relatively recently, hence re-reading all my Elric novels.

I'll give the GoT books a bash I think, as well as the series :)

Yes, excellent series. Looking forward to the last episode of season 2 next week because last weeks episode was very good. The explosion  Just started to read in the first book. Easy to read and I didn't take note of the 6 words for 1 as Jonners describes it. It's the Dutch translations though so maybe it got lost in translation? A lot of detail about the characters in the book that aren't apparent in the series. Also plenty stuff that got left out.

Haven't read the Farseer trilogy. Will look into them. Thanks for the tip.
