Now then, now then, as it 'appens guys and gals, Sir Jimmy Saville has got into his final fix.
I always thought that like Lemmy and Cockroaches he was indestrucible.

Obituary

In fact I think Jimmy Saville was presenting TOTP the first time Motorhead appeared on it with Louie Louie

Open bracket, close bracket.
When the truth offends we lie and lie until we can longer remember it is even there. But it is still there. Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is repaid

Was told at lunch time - couldn't believe it.

A fine entertainer whose charity work was exemplary.  And I've been told by those who've worked with him or met him at corporate functions etc that he was a consummate professional, with a wicked sense of humour.

Yorkshire's lost a good 'un today.

Not so sure about that Matt ...... He had friends in very high places .... Apparently
I'll try and behave . Promise

A very strange character (remember the louis theroux documentary a few years ago) but a character nonetheless.

RIP

That old 'Barbara Windsor Carry on Film' nurse uniform does bring out the dirty old man in most men. He's only human. Possibly why they got rid of it and replaced it with the scrubs.

Could the man upstairs take Noel Edmonds off our hands instead?

I loved the way he put a pause in every band;

"as it 'appens Black          Sabbath".

Who gets the gold tracksuits? Could someone find out?

Sad news, i think all kids loved to watch Jim'll fix it back in its day, i thought it was great, and Jim was always good value on TOTP. Great credit is due for the amount of money he raised for charity as well. RIP Jimmy.

His surname was Savile actually, a common mistake with folk it seems.

Like Pricey, I found him a strange strange person with rumours of a dark side
He did raise a great deal of £££'s for some worthy causes though.
