Yes - very sad. Sarah Jane Adventures is excellent, Well, me and the kids think so anyhow.

Yes mate, i've enjoyed watching them because my 6 year old daughter is a huge fan of them, along with Doctor who. Very sad news about Elisabeth Sladen, RIP.

Not sure the kids will react when i tell them. They were big fans of the Adventure series.

Very sad. She was great with Tom Baker.

Well what did everyone make to that first episode?
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

Not a lot.

Was it really necessary to go to the US? Surely a clay-pit in Surrey would have sufficed.

Don't watch it, but she still gives me funny stirrings. :P

Watched episode 1 again yesterday evening and it really is a great piece of TV - let alone Dr Who. Amazing that they get to put death and some horror on the telly at 6:30 on a Saturday evening, and yet they manage to balance it with some great humour and brilliant characters. Loving the 'secret' element of it which brings together the four leads as a little family with the doctor having to rely on the other 3 for his life. Alex Kingston's character is fantastic (as is she) and I really hope it's not her who gets the elbow: kick out the fiance is what reckon. Moffat's memory wiping monsters are excellently creepy and great to see the guy from BSG (Mark Sheppard) in it: top drawer casting. And Matt Smith simply is the doctor now.
