Can't believe they havent even started recording yet.

Shit.

Ted Templeman is still producing - he's the man for the job.

Ed is sporting an Alex style paunch there.  He looks good - happy and healthy.

I thought so too - not quite as gaunt as he has been in the recent past.

I'm surprised there's not one of those available.  The flamed (maple??) top version is gorgeous:

Not impressed by the choice of producer - john shanks. Check his resume - huge success but alot of the artists he's worked with are pants - take that? Jesus.

The contrast between VH and the bands he produces might be a blessing though.  We're almost predisposed to presume that only the "natural" match ups can bring out an inspired performance.  Sometimes it's the most unlikely of pairings that bear the sweetest fruit.  We'll see.

Well, I see he's worked with Bon Jovi so VH won't be unfamiliar territory sound-wise.  He's been involved in the writing of a lot of big hits so hopefully there'll be an emphasis on catchy melodies and hooks, a la 1984 and 5150 and OU812 - just the way I like it. ;)  And if Eddie's in a mood to give the whammy bar a good thrashing, we should be in for a corker. :)
