Is this album acoustic versions of old songs? I was looking at the CD in HMV the sticker states including 1 new song, but I never recognised any of the song titles, bit I only really know Fish era Marillion.

Yes, acoustic versions of old songs, all Hogarth era.

I think I said in another thread, a case of the good the bad and the ugly IMHO

Out of this World, The Space, If my heart were a ball, 21st Centuary are great.
Hard as love and Quartz are great rock songs that are mangled
and Interior Lulu is still a mess.
The new track is OK at best but the not so hidden track is fun.

Worth a listen.

fantastic album. great to hear the songs  re-recorded accoustically.  they are recording all the shows on the tour and are available to download on marillion.com.

The new songs are an abomination

Great band, even my Rush hating Mrs like Marillion!

Since Marbles i feel they've gone off the boil.  I wasn't a fan of Somewhere Else(?) and didn't buy the Less is More.  They were the first band i really fell in love with in 1984 - a year before Rush.

Really disappointed by "Less is More". An interesting idea, but it just doesn't work for me.

Still look forward to hearing new material from them though - and a great live band.
