Bastion on Xbox One. Got it the sale.
Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide

Reg

Xbox One:

Alternating between Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time and another delightful little gem I got in a sale: Song Of The Deep.

I've played quite a bit of Rainbow Six Siege lately. My sons and their friends insist on having me join their games, I told them I think it's because they don't want to be the first to get killed... ;)

Paddy Power's "Hit The Spot" game; basically you have ten attempts per day to take 10 free kicks hoping to hit targets of differing value in the goal and achieve 30 points or more, which entitles you to "a share of €1,000".  After weeks of trying, with several near misses, on my 10th and last go today, I finally attained 32 points.  Yet to find out what my prize is - I'm expecting probably a fiver, if that.

UPDATE: won €1.58    ;D

I've just completed Song of the Deep. Difficult in parts, but very rewarding.

As it is a 'Metroidvania' type game, of course I've now got to go back and get all the secrets. Luckily the map itself shows you where the treasure and items are - but you have to work out how to get to the locations and access the treasure and items.

Most addictive game I have played in a long time. If you like Castlevania type games, I think you will like this.

Just picked up Soul Calibur 6 for Xbox One in Tesco for £10.

Bargain. Microsoft Store want £49.99.

Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox One (picked up 2nd hand). Beautiful to behold and easy to pick up and get going. Looks like there are completely bonkers levels of modifications available and vehicles to collect.

Zaccaria Pinball on Xbox One.

Most excellent.

@Reg Yeah, but it's not one of my old Pinball games is it ;-)

Reg

Ah that it ain't. I still dig out Pinball Dreams (and Fantasies come to that) on the Amiga Forever platform now and then.

Zaccaria is fantastic though - and has one of my most fondly remembered tables from Uni (and that was sooooo long ago!), namely Nautilus.

If only I could find KISS. That was the one I played most.

I urge everyone that can play it to grab a copy of ...

LONE: FAR SAILS

it's a fantastic indie title.

Starlink : Battle For Atlas on Xbox One.

Normally £69.99, but in the sale at £17.50.

Great fun.

I'm really enjoying this. I'm struggling a bit with battles in space but getting better at it, and weapons choice definitely makes a difference. A definite bargain at £17.50. There is a campaign and story to follow, but also you can do your own thing exploring, and/or take side missions. Early days yet, but initial impressions are very favourable.

And it looks gorgeous too. Also, despite playing for over an hour at a time, I haven't encountered the dreaded travel sickness I normally get when playing 3D games like this. Ho hum.
