I bought that one a while ago and in fact she and her band performed live on Jonathan Ross' programme this morning.

Oh dear,

perhaps inspired by the very metal Anvil thread elsewhere, on Saturday I parted good hard earned cash for The Best Heavy Metal Album in the World...Ever.

Now normally I would give compilations like this a very wide berth, but, encouraged by my young son, I took the plunge and now regret it. I should have read the cover more closely. Included are tracks by such metal legends as Tank, that Swedish bloke whose name I can't spell or pronounce (Ynweegie or something ?), and Megadeth. The final track is by none other than those gods of thunder, Nickelback.

What was I thinking of ?

Mister, can I have my money back, please ?

Yeah - I think Q have just voted it best promo.

Apparently Trent Reznor and Zack De La Rocha were reduced to tears when they saw it.

Norah Jones - Feels Like Home.  Halfway through first listen now - first impressions not terribly positive.  Dull.

Wow some of you guys sure like to mellow out... ;D

I was stuck at Stansted for an hour a week ago and bought the following:

The Who - The Ultimate Collection
Miles Davis - Ballads
Norah Jones - the first one, can't remember the name (that was for Mrs Tompy - too bland for me)

I also just got Rush - ATWAS from Ebay - which means I now have all of their albums I want on CD (don't have the 1st or ESL).

Grey Album. Apparently it would have charted very highly if it was a legit release (based on the number of downloads)
I've heard about this.
I'd love to hear it. Apparently the guy who did it (Danger Mouse or something) wants to do the same thing with Jay-Z and Metallica's Black album.
