QuoteEngines off certainly helps but then you let the aircraft slow down so much that the wings loose lift and basically the aircraft starts to drop out of the sky. So basic procedure for this is to close the engines (that reduces speed) and pitch the nose up, which reduces speed further.When the aircraft starts to loose lift (i.e. it stalls), you push the nose down and while descending a little, the aircraft regains speed and builds up lift on the wings again and off you fly again. Pushing the throttles forward in this case helps too. ;)
