Got one of those myself on Christmas Day. Nearly gone now unfortunately.

Got a 12-yo Highland Park from the in-laws, it'll go nicely with the other bottle already in the cupboard, can't have too much of the stuff :)

I bought myself a "selection box" Glenfiddich set containing 20ml bottles of the 12YO, 15YO and 18YO. Hadn't tried the 15 or the 18 before. The 15 is delightful. 18 is OK but a bit medicinal.

I saw Bruichladdich Rocks on sale at Sainsburys for £28 today
Has anybody tasted this? Thought I might give it a try but unsure..its a single malt unchill filtered colouring free and not peated but its from several vintages...that put me off a little. Any thoughts?

You're not wrong there young sir :)

But HP's not as good as it used to be...

A bottle of 12yo Glenlivet was my Whisky pressie this year. I'll drain my Old Pulteney and make a start.

Any recommendations for an expensive(ish) bottle of whisky as a gift.....looking at around £100.

The recipent knows his stuff and lives in Scotland, so nothing run of the mill please....

It's a thank you for getting 7 of us in to Loch Lomand golf course for free....usually £250 each...so if it runs more that's cool....
