Watch out for any emails from "eBay Trust & Safety Department" titled "Safety Harbour Critical Notice".

I recieved one yesterday, asking me to confirm my identity, because there had attempted  unauthorised charges on my credit card.

It looked quite legitimate as it was properly ebay "branded" however the giveaway was they asked for me to confirm my card details  ::) which I know is against ebay policy!

If in doubt, forward anything suspicious to spoof@ebay.com.

Keep 'em peeled!  ;)

I had one as well. Very, very convincing email. The website they send you to is exactly like Ebay's sign-in screen. The website address is even the same. I didn't even twig until it asked me to verify my credit card details and I knew I'd never given my credit card details to Ebay.

I'll have to check my emails when I get home.  Thanks for the warning Oz.
