Might have been an idea to play some different cities this time...

Most Excellent.
You could have come and sat next to me, Mrs S didn't go. She doesn't like Motorway travel, and nor do I after a three hour journey home.

She's braving a run to Nottingham tonight though.

I thought it was extraordinarily brilliant from start to finish.
The three drummers works well. Jakko Jakszyk screaming was the highlight. I went with a squash buddy who likes live music and is a big The Fall and Genesis fan but was never in to KC.  He was blown away. (We went to see Steve Hacket there a couple of weeks ago and we have hawkwind at the end of the month).

The traffic was awful getting there. Waze took us home through wolves so only 1h 40 to Bishops Castle.

I had a good run in, but coming back the M6/M42 junction was closed. Made my way back up to the M42, traffic came to a halt on the slip-road. Road ahead blocked. After a bit, reversed up slip-road and thought ah! M6-M69-M1, M1 was shut near Leicester and shut near Nottingham. 1h 20m journey took over 3 hours, if only I'd gone the route we always went when I was at Uni in Brum, the god old A38, would have been an hour and 25 and I'd have retained more memories of a great night.

Be interesting to see what setlist tonight brings.

If they were good last night, they were even better tonight, on another level - Level 5? - simply sensational.
Set 2 was the best 90 minutes of live music I've heard.

Wish they'd played up here.  Frustrating that I received a 50% off tickets email a few days ago to shows I can't make...

Just curious Hass, was that through Groupon?

No, through the promoter - for Nottingham, Brum and Edinburgh.  Had a quick look and they had second row seats for all venues as well....

Ns2112 you are one lucky guy.

I came away from the Birmingham concert thinking "I need to see that again, did that just happen" It was a complete assault on the senses. So did you just appreciate it more because you could relive it?

I tried to explain what it was like to my wife who loves them but I was at a loss for words, because words can not some how explain it.

There is a really funny (bad way) review of this band playing live from 2015 on the guardian. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/sep/10/king-crimson-review-hackney-empire-london-return
