Great comeback by the Steelers in the second half to see off the Bengals - knocks them out of the running for the playoffs and keeps us on track.......

Seahawks, Raiders, Cowboys and Patriots all got to the post season.

Lots still for play for with 2 games to go. Steelers looking good with a play for it all at home against the Ravens next week with a plan B vs the Browns in the back pocket too :-)

So the AFC teams in the playoffs are decided as Week 17 games can only affect seeding

Patriots, Raiders, Steelers. Texans Dolphins and Chiefs will all see post season play. The only seeding change possible is Raiders and Chiefs depending on their final game result. You'd fancy the Raiders except they lost Carr to a season ending injury against the Colts. Not sure how the Raiders will fair under McGloin but  a win over the Browns and a Pats loss to the Dolphins could actually give them the #1 seed!

In the NFC we have Cowboys, Falcons, Seahawks, Packers, Giants and Lions but the Redskins and Buccaneers still have a shot as the Packers and the Lions play Week 17 and the loser will need both of those teams to lose as well to stay in the playoffs. Again the only seeding change could be the Falcons and Seahawks depending on their final game results. Hawks have the 'easier' game but have been inconsistent and lost Lockett to a season ending injury against the Cards.

Latest betting puts the Pats to win the AFC championship with Steelers second favourites followed by Raiders, Chiefs, Dolphins and Texans.

The NFC betting has Dallas followed by Seahawks, Packers, Falcons, Giants and Lions (Buccs then Redskins)

Neither of last years Superbowl teams  - Broncos and Panthers - will make the post season which is only the third time that has happened!

Playoff Weekend now set

Sat Jan 14

Seahawks @ Falcons
Texans @ Patriots

Sun Jan 15

Steelers @ Chiefs
Packers @ Cowboys

I think the only game which is easy to call is a Patriots win.  The rest could go either way.

Great result for The Steelers although has to be said Miami made some awful errors which threw the game in favour of the Steelers. Just glad no obvious injuries were picked up.

Possibly spoke too soon - appears Roethlisberger aggravated an old ankle injury towards the end of the match. His involvement in the next round is being put into question but suspect there is a degree of gamesmanship going on here to unsettle Kansas, knowing Ben he will be there, the game is way to big for him to miss.

Seems like the Steelers and Packers are set on upsetting the seedings :-)

Superbowl LI will see the Patriots face the Falcons.  Think I'd like the Falcons to win just to see a new name on the trophy.

Not seen any of the game as on too late but not surprised The Patriots won - was more surprised The Packers didn't put on more of a game tbh....
Not really fussed who wins the Superbowl out of the 2 tbh but guess I'd lean towards New England. At least I won't have to take the Monday off now as won't need to watch it.
