Bravado - Real Time Live, Chesterfield, 22nd January
« on: January 18, 2016, 20:16:35 PM »
For those of us who are of the opinion that the West Midlands is a bit dodgy for travelling to, the much more hospitable east Midlands are hosting Bravado this coming Friday at Real Time Live in Chesterfield.
I'll be there, Mrs S might be there.

Not sure if Terry and I wil be though we'd like to be. She's working in NI all week and flys back either Friday or Saturday. If she's coming home on Saturday then i'll definitely be there. If Friday then it will depend on when she arrives and the corresponding travel logistics. Fred Barchetta will definitely be there. Red Star said he probably wouldn't be but after hearing a certain CoS song live on Sunday I don't think he'll be able to stay at home knowing this is being played just up the road a bit. :)

Very much wanting to be there but will have to ensure all eventualities are covered at home (due date is about 6 weeks away  :o ).  Anyway, I'm being dragged to see the lady's favourite band the night after so that may be a useful negotiating tool. ::)

Well, with that setlist I was borderline content at times :)

Nothing short of a potential medical emergency would have kept me from travelling down.  Hence, I had to stay at home. ;)

I'm trusting a good time was had by all. :)

Hope all's alright :)

What wasn't alright were the strides the New Guy wore in the second set, they looked like he'd left them out to dry in an Albatross colony...

Yes, all good thank you.  It's just that we're at 32 weeks now, and the lady had a hypo a couple of nights ago that was fortunately caught early.  If she happens to have a severe one with nobody around for too long...well, it's simply not worth the risk.

Maybe next time!

Yes Simmers, his fashion sense wasn't exactly my cup of Earl Grey! He can certainly play though.
