Indeed so. :)

As for meself, I’m in Greece for the week, enjoying the hot weather, cloudless skies, beaches, swimming pools, hospitality, lots of “firsts” for the little ‘un (she loved her maiden flight, especially the landing) etc etc.  8)

A brilliant night at the theatre.
Saw Height of The Storm which was funny while at the same time very moving.
It is on its way to the west end. If you get the chance it is worth catching.

We got the remark of the one exam that my daughter did significantly worse in than expect and thanks to the correction of an administrative error her mark has gone from a 6 to an 8. Dead pleased for her but wish the exam boards took their job a bit more seriously.

She could have just waited a couple of weeks and got an 8 grade from a packet of cornflakes :)

For yesterday, Cloudbusting performing the songs of Kate Bush (in Falkirk of all places...)

Very, very good; would go see them again.

We are in the process of doing the same thing for our youngest’s A levels.. fingers crossed, it didn’t work for our eldest’s.

I follow Mamas Gun guitar virtuoso Terry 'Spiller' Lewis on Instagram, and this evening he brought to the attention of his followers a tune called The Out Of Work Clown from an album called Licensed Premises Lifestyle, by a band called Talc.

Downloaded the album a few minutes later. A concept album about a pub. Released ten years ago apparently. Very Steely Dan-ish, quite glorious.
