Off to meet a couple of lads I used to knock around with later, we're going for an Indian. Haven't seen either of them for 28 years. The one had a bad moto-x accident last year, and will never walk again.

The card I received today from my partner's daughter, which stated :

Happy Father's Day
from the kid you
inadvertently inherited when
you shacked up
with Mum

Inside, she had written :

Happy Father's Day to the guy
I am glad to have inadvertently
inherited when he shacked up
with my Mum hahaha!

Somehow, a speck of dust got in my eye at that point.......  ::)

Oh, there was an Amazon gift card inside too! Good lass!   ;D

I got a plush little presentation box in which was a metal pick with "Daddy You Rock" engraved on it.  ;D

Have a great time in Oxford - cracking pubs, excellent location for a night on the ale.
