Friday night? check. Bravado playing within sensible driving distance? check. See you down the front. :)

Yay!  :)  I'm also endeavouring to be present (unlike the last time we met up).  ;D

From West Yorkshire, Chesterfield is a terrible place to get to and return from with the seemingly permanent roadworks on the M1 - and Sheffield being in the way - but it was all so worth it!

The Bravs played another truly stonking couple of sets, with a fine blend of the proto-Rush that Simsy dances to and calls "proper-Rush", and the real proper-Rush that causes outbreaks of air-keys.

Highlights:
Chemistry (perfection)
Something For Nothing (rousing)
Xanadu (flawless)

and that one-handed floating snare...  :o :o

That was an OK night out.

Summat for note was spiffing.

Xanadu (flawless)

Not quite. Pod had a "moment" on accompanying guitar at the end (probably freaked out at his own awesomeness) but it was very very good and indeed the whole evening was superb and well worth the trip as usual.

Terry and I actually went back to the same venue the very next night for an evening with Mentallica. It was heavy and it was VERY good! :)

True on all counts.  Near-flawless, I should have put, but magnificent either way.  :)
