I was on a train from Kings Cross to Leeds on the night of this gig.  As it neared its stop at Doncaster, I half-frivolously and half-seriously thought about changing there to go to Sheffield, as I would have just about made the start of the show.  I did the sensible thing and carried on home.

However, if I'd have known then what I know now, I wouldn't have given a second thought to getting off that train to make that gig.  And I was in First Class!

Ah well.

Good gig I thought on the whole, agreed that they weren't at their best during the first part. Nice little venue. Sadly the last ever gig by the Bravs as we know and love them; I think I've seen them 10 or 11 times now and I've always had a thoroughly good time.

Here's to the next chapter then, and especially to Paul who is one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet, as well as being a special player.

Lovely post on a very sad subject James.
