JOURNEY - STONE IN LOVE.

Reg

Quite happy with my earworms today. . . .

Kicked off with Rainbow : Stargazer
Then on to Rush : The Enemy Within
Standing in the shadows, hiding from the light
Reach out in the darkness, and hold on for your life
All the fear of the future, all the emptiness inside
When the moment of truth arrives, hey, you can run but you can't hide

Poison me with liquour
And break out the party hats

Slim

Of all the places I have gone
And all the faces I have known
They never seem to feel like home
And now it's time for letting go

Blink 182 - Rock Show

Learnt it for a wedding we're playing and now I'm feeling like I'll never un-learn it.  But that's okay, it's a fun song. :)

Shut Up And Kiss Me

Heard that last night on the radio for the first time - great guitar work but noticed the vocals seemed to be down in the mix a bit I know his voice is shot live but am guessing he may have struggled in the studio too. Fun, old school rock song though.

It could have come straight from Slip Of The Tongue, couldn't it?  :)   Good to see/hear Reb Beach still on form; those signature legato tapping runs of his will always be a showstopper.

Wouldn't It Be Good by Nik Kershaw

Some bloke performed it at a gig I was working at yesterday and it now refuses to leave!
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

I'm a big fan of the local library
I just read a book
But that's another story

I've been working on this overtime
You might think that I don't care
But if you look inside this heart of mine
You'll still be there
